Recycling rate:
100%!
Reinforcing steel and environmental protection do not contradict each other. They complement each other, and really well! This is due on the one hand to the product and its raw materials, and on the other hand to modern production processes used at Marienhütte.
Once a building has reached the end of its life, reinforcing steel can be 100% recycled and reintroduced into the construction cycle. This conserves resources and the environment.
no concrete steel without old iron.
Scrap iron is the most important raw material needed for the production of reinforcing steel. Together with lime, carbon, oxygen and a lot of electrical energy, it is melted down at high speed. The electric arc furnace in which this happens manages 40 tons in 40 minutes.
ASSURED QUALITY:
FROM THE BEGINNING
Good reinforcing steel is a genuine quality product. Provided it is seamlessly controlled from the raw material to the finished product. Marienhütte applies the highest quality criteria throughout the entire manufacturing process, guaranteeing a perfect product.
